It's an arachnid party!

Saturday night, watchin’ TV
All alone, just my wife and me
Reception was bad but then through all the static
I thought I heard something going on in the attic
I grabbed my ladder, climbed up to the ceilin’
I slid the latch, got a queasy feelin’
Threw open the hatch, lit my trusty lighter
Lo and behold there were thousands of spiders

Spiders . . . . . surfin’ the webs
Ridin’ the waves in flows and ebbs
Lookin’ for flies, moths and mosquitos
Wrappin’ ‘em up like tiny burritos
And a recluse band hidin’ back in the slums
Playin’ guitars and red hourglass drums

An arachnid party . . . . . well, wouldn’t you know
I’ve never seen spiders do that show
But my wife climbed up with a can of Raid
Before I could stop her, she started to spray
With eight eyes apiece they stared us down
Jumped all at once, wrapped us ‘round and ‘round
We made tasty meals from there on after
They wrote us a message up in the rafters
Mmm, mmm, some pigs!
